Ancient Egyptian Temple of Khons, situated in Karnak.Construction started in the Reign of Ramses the third, and continued sporadically up until the reign of Ramses the twelfth. Much this ruin still remains, although it is thought to have originally been brightly muralled inside and out. Khons was the god of the moon

This model is work in progress, and is therefore not entirely accurate (especially the murals, which are there merely to echo the colour scheme and feel of the temple in it's heyday.
However, we feel that it echoes the grandieur of the original quite fairly. All resources used for this were taken from various books on egyptology and ancient architecture, or have been found on the web. Please get in touch If you can help us with this reconstruction (All work is voluntary as yet, I'm afraid, and that includes ourselves).
